My question is about how you came to tuck your shirt in when you play? I noticed right after your surgery that a number of the guys during the following game tucked one side of their shirt in during their shift. I couldn’t help but wonder if it was a nod to you, knowing how much you wished you could be with them. Spoke volumes about the team’s camaraderie.

A: Denise, I tuck it in because I like all my equipment tight on me, and I don’t like how wide they make the shirts. I think that it was maybe coincidence, but if it wasn’t then I love that!

What’s your favorite Steak house in the San Jose area ? My friend said he held the door for you one night while you and your wife walked out and he won’t tell me where it was. Just wondering where I can find a JR approved steak??

Hey JR, is it me or does the Dallas ice surface look a little small? I also wanted to ask what sports do you like besides hockey and who are you favourite athletes in those sports past or present?.

A: Corey, The Dallas rink seems bigger to me actually. I love all sports. I love Tom Brady, Michael Jordan, Freddy Couples…there are so many great athletes that I respect.

I hope you have a few more years of play in store for the Sharks, but when the time comes to retire as a player, do you see yourself focusing still on hockey or possibly a career in a new field?

A: Rich, I am not sure what I want to do yet. I obviously love the game so much, so if I can find the right job position there, I will. I cannot be sure what I am going to want to do when that time comes,but will take time figuring that out.
